Dear all, recently i come with a problem when i calculate the efficiency of solar cell. According to the formation IPCE=LHE*QE , i've got the data of QE but fail to get the data of LHE( light harvesting efficiency ). From where can i download the necessary data? Thanks a lot for your support!

By the way, i'd like to correct my question according to the my reading. Judging from one thesis, it describles that IPCE equals to EQE, while the other one suggest that IPCE equals to LHE*η*Φ ('η' refers to charge-collecting efficiency and 'Φ' refers to the charge-collecting efficiency by the glass supported electrode. So i wonder which is the correct definition of the relation between IPCE and EQE?
Also is the equation described as QE=η*Φ right or not?
Light harvesting efficiency is the generated electron hole pairs per incident photon at a wavelength lambda.
If the spectral irradiance I0 is given as a function of lambda in units of watt per cm^2 / wavelength interval dlambda.Then one can get the incident photon flux F at the wavelength lambda by dividing I0 by photon energy Eph and multiplying by the wavelength interval dlambda, Then
F= I0 x dlambda/ Eph,
This photon flux at lambda present in the interval dlambda will be partly reflected when incident on the solar cell material with a reflectance R such that the part which passes to the inner of the material will be 1-R. This penetrated part will be absorbed with an absorption coefficient alpha depending on the wavelength of the light.
The light absorbed at a distance x from the surface of the absorbing material will generate elctron hole pairs with a Rate G according to the relation:
G=alpha F(1-R) exp - alpha x,
The generated electron-hole pairs qehp in the a volume of a material having an area A1cm^2 and thickness d
qehp= integral G dx,
I0 is available as the incident solar radiation say AM1. Also alpha is available as a material property as a function of lamda.
And therefore you can your self calculate the light harvesting efficiency as
Light harvesting efficiency=qehp/ ( I0 dlambda/Ep). The denominator represents the incident light photon flux in the interval of the wavelength dlambda.

Meanwhile, may i ask a question? Due to the document i've read and generously provided by Mrs.Murthy, the coommon statement is in DSSC(dye-sensitized solar cell) as shown in thesis. So i wonder whether the equation IPCE=LHE*η*Φ could be applied to slicon solar cell?
By the way, another question confuses me all the time. The equation QE=η*Φ ('η' refers to charge-collecting efficiency and 'Φ' refers to the charge-collecting efficiency by the glass supported electrode) is suitable to use or not?(Cause i get this from one encyclopedia website).
