Schizophrenia and left-handedness.......... . I have not seen many studies on this relationship. However, I have been thinking, in fact, keeping an eye on this since long time. And my opinion is that those who are strictly left-handed carry a very high risk for developing schizophrenia, PSTD or stroke or other kind of neurological/ neuropsychiatric complications. But not all people with a neurological/neuropsychiatric complication will show left-handedness.

Could left-handedness in schizophrenic patients be indirectly caused by reductions in left superior temporal lobe?
I have read several papers demonstrating a reduced asymmetry in language and auditory areas in schizophrenic patients. (reductions in left planum temporale and Herschel's gyrus and increases in right homologues)
Additionally left-handers also show a reduced asymmetry in language areas, compared to controls.
Do you think a line can be drawn between those two observations?
