Unfortunately, to my knowledge, given the state of develpment of the global system of tourism statististics there is is no global data or regional data bases of FDI data for tourism industries and tourism fixed capital assets as yet. Instead, tourism specific data on these subjects is hidden within other aggregated trade and investment figures with national Systems of National Accounts and Balance of Payments accounts.
Some countries, such as Canada have carried out pilot studies or feasibility studies on the subjects of FDI and Fixed Capital Formation. For example, as Director of Research of the Canadian Tourism Commission I commissioned and published an initial feasibility study of the subject (see"Foreign Direct Investment in Canada’s Tourism Sector, 1987 – 1997" (Franklin Chow, 2005) which was also published in the UNWTO Enzo Paci Papers, sometime around that date.
See also the discussion Table 8 of the Tourism Satellite Account: Recommended Methodological Framework 2008 which outlines the beginings of an approach for the compilation of estimates of investment in tourism-specific Fixed Capital Assets. Only the categories of “Tourism-specific fixed assets” and “Investment by the tourism industries in non-tourism-specific fixed assets” are included in TSA:RMF (2008) table 8. The category of “Tourism-related infrastructure” is not yet included in the TSA:RFM (2008) table 8, because of the “difficulties in identifying elements of tourism investments” (TSA:RMF, 2008, para. 2.54). Despite this, TSA:RMF (2008) encourages countries to work on this issue and to include “tourism-related infrastructure” to TGFCF:
Countries that are able to estimate all or part of it are encouraged to include it as an additional category (TSA:RMF, 2008, para. 4.70).
Also, while working in Iceland, in the mid-2010s, Cristi Frent also published an excellent and full study of the subject of tourism investment for Iceland (see "The Economic Benefits of Tourism in Iceland New developments for the Icelandic Tourism Satellite Account: Tourism Gross Fixed Capital Formation and Tourism Collective Consumption (Frent 2014). In Annex 7. he produces a centralized lsit of countries that produced/ have produced estimates for TGFCF up to 2013.
You should also note that the World Travel and Tourism Council and their supplier Oxford Economics produce macro-economic model-based global and regional estimates of tourism capital investment and capital formation but I have not yet seen global rank table derived from their assessments.
