For purposes of scientific reviews and to obtain a better sense of the state of biochar implementation outside of broad-field agriculture, I am interested in learning about any prior or ongoing field experiments on biochar effects on plant productivity, soil processes, and biogeochemistry. A brief "meta-data" description would be valuable (location; year implemented; size of treated areas; biochar dosage(s); plot replication; type of biochar used including feedstock, pyrolysis method, and peak temperature; soil type, including texture and pH; ecosystem or target plant species examined).
Depending on responses, I would consider collaboration on a review with contributors.
I have attached a file with my lab's ongoing field trials as a template.

Shawn we have a trial. Established 2015 . two application 5000 and 10000 kg /ha two different charcoals 4 replicates and Scots pine 63N 24E. We also might be interested to collaborate
Many scientists in the universities (i.e. UPM, UM) are working on biochar using agricultural species. FRIM Soils Unit purchased some to be use in planting holes at Setiu FRIM Field Station (on BRIS) later this month. Dr Jeyanny is planning to conduct trial in the nursery next year. Not much work has been done on forestry species yet. the biochar obtained is from rice husk.

there are a lot of work on using the biochar as an amendment to lower the bioavailability of heavy metals in soils, plus using biochar with other material to increase the efficiency of these amendments such as with sewage sludge
