My question is a thought I had when I saw the attached-linked article.

My thought is that there are many factors that impact test taking. When you use a proctor (whether it be technology-related or human-related) this is an additional factor that contributes to the results.

Stating that test scores are lower when a proctoring tool is used is not an advantage of using said proctoring tool. It can be seen as a possible disadvantage due to the affect of being overly monitored - thus being an additional factor.

Am I missing the point?
