Thanks for your answers. I'm familiar with electromagnetic induction. Indeed my question is, why does electromagnetic induction happen? Or to be more specific, why does a time-varying magnetic field create an electric field?

For a layperson: a time varying magnetic field creates an electric field, and such field induces the movement of electrons.

More formal: you can start from the Maxwell–Faraday equation of Faraday's law of induction:

The existence of a non-stationary magnetic field in free space causes circulation of the Electric field E along closed lines. If there are free charges, such as electrons, such E-field can move charges and produce a current.

Since the copper coils (refered to as a loop) contain a changing electric charge, an object placed within the electric field will become charged (magnetized). When the rod is pushed in and out of the coils, the magnetic field around the coils is changed. This in turn makes the electrons (current) in the coil move.

The ultimate answer is: because that’s the way Nature behaves in our world. And all those phenomena can be explained using the human-made concepts of electric and magnetic fields: charges in movement and time varying electric field creates a magnetic field, and conversely, time varying magnetic field creates an electric field.

If a coil of wire is placed in a changing magnetic field, a current will be induced in the wire. This current flows because something is producing an electric field that forces the charges around the wire. (It cannot be the magnetic force since the charges are not initially moving). Don't over-think this: a time-varying magnetic field is a magnetic field that varies in time. ... This means that at any given instant of time, you can pick a point in space and the function will spit out three values describing the magnetic field at that point. If so , then we say that the field varies in time. When magnetic field is constant,then no cause and hence no induced EMF. Thanks. One way to accept this is to simply look at the calculus of Faraday's law of induction.

As far as I know, Faraday made some observations, and then Maxwell formulated it, and no one asked why this happened. so I asked myself: what is the conceptual connection between the electric field and the magnetic field? Why does changing in one field produce another field?

according to Heaviside: "There are only two things going, matter and energy. Nothing else is a thing at all; all the rest are moonshine, considered as things."

Magnetic fields are a form of energy. In order for a magnetic field inside a volume of space to become stronger, energy has to flow into that volume. But the flow of (electromagnetic) energy is inseparably connected to the presence of both a magnetic field as well as an electric field (with different directions) (Poynting's theorem).

To put it another way, the flow of electromagnetic energy consists of photons, and photons consist of an electric and a magnetic field, perpendicular to each other and to the direction of propagation. So, an answer to your question is: Because photons are what they are.

Once Poynting's theorem is accepted, it follows for purely geometrical reasons that a convergent/divergent energy flow is accompanied by a rotational E field, and a rotational energy flow by a convergent/divergent E field.

We can as well turn things around: As long as there is no electric field, the strength of the magnetic field cannot change. (If you change the direction instead of the strength this would be accompanied by a change of the spatial distribution of magnetic energy, too, unless the field were homogeneous, filling the whole universe.)

Of course, you can ask further, e. g. why there isn't a second form of energy flow, not involving both fields. I guess this would not take you anywhere. When we try to describe (in a non-mathematical way) phenomena not based on obvious mechanisms we rely on our everyday experience, and might end up with interesting and helpful analogies (like Maxwell's incompressible fluids and his array of wheels and idle wheels) but not with a self-contained explanation.

BTW, this energy-based point of view clarifies another matter: When a charged capacitor is disconnected from the rest of the circuit, and is discharged through its (slightly conductive) dielectric, this process is not accompanied by a magnetic field because the conduction current and the change of the electric field point in opposite directions (rot H = J + d D / d t). At first sight, this looks kind of strange (it did at least to me), but energy-wise, it is obvious because at the outset, the energy is located between the capacitor plates, and during the process the electric energy is transformed into thermal energy without leaving the space between the plates (the dissipating thermal energy is another matter). So, there is just "disappearance" but no flow of electromagnetic energy, and consequently no need for a magnetic field.

As the magnet approaches the ring, the distribution of the magnetic field around the ring changes. Changing the distribution of the magnetic field around the ring leads to the generation of an electric field (on the ring plate). This electric field can change the distribution of ring electrons. Changing the electrons of the ring can create an induced potential in the ring circuit. The induced potential generated in the circuit generates the induced electric current in the circuit circuit. (You can track the appropriate calculations from Maxwell's equations (especially the third and fourth equations)) Hope you got the answer right.

Rashid Nasrolahpour has explained it very well. I'd like to add a simple point, as we know presently, electricity and magnetism are not very different phenomena, when you observe them the way, the corresponding mediator (photons here) builds up the electromagnetic interaction. In fact, the fine-structure constant basically gives a measure of the coupling between photons and charge. The static and dynamic charges create the electric and magnetic fields. Naturally they can influence each other the way an electric field can influence another electric field and vice versa.

All phenomena involving varying time of electric field, magnetic field and there interaction has been univied in Maxwell Equations.

Of course, it should be noted that in this case, the ring is stationary and the magnet approaches the ring at a very low (classic) speed. I don't think the speed of electrons is relative (as much as you would like).

I think (as I said before) the answer to this question will be well given using Maxwell's equations and, of course, the concepts of electricity and magnetism (both computationally and formally, as well as conceptually and descriptively).

I approve of your working method and it is consistent with the APG Institute method.

Just a simple question :

What is the relative speed limit in your work to view these works?

And is this the required speed limit, in this case (ring and magnet)?

also : We can be good companions, as long as we never get tired of physics challenging.
