When running PCR and you were supposed to do 40 cycles and you did 35. Is it possible to do extra 5 when the 35 stops?

marvelous, if you do the extra 5 just after de first 35 stops it's Ok. You cannot do it if you freeze the sample, in this case you must add new Taq
