this is a very general and complex question. It is dependent to numerous variable such as: 1- type of waste 2- environmental policies, 3-costs of gathering wastes 4-price of energy 5-technology and ... The waste should be studied case by case for different countries.

I know that the recycling cost is different for different countries. This is the reason why i am asking this question. I am working in my Master thesis and i am researching for recycling cost in different countries.

You can perform Value Stream Mapping to determine all of that. Use the factors of a given situation in your country, cost of fuel, maintenance on equipment, insurance, collection costs, waste processing costs, labor, tipping fees, etc.
