Sample size, >30 considered as the “magic” number to get idea about data distribution and calculation of confidence interval etc. There’s in depth discusses available on researchgate as well for that.

My query is whats the “magic” number (sample size) for bootstrapping method? Is it same as >30 , asking as I read online “it’s probably not going to be very useful if you have only a few observedvalues.” (http://www.dummies.com/education/science/biology/the-bootstrap-method-for-standard-errors-and-confidence-intervals/). I’m clear about each resampled bootstrap size is equal to sample size (observed data).
