What is the importance of productivity in ecosystem and how can farmers implement regenerative agriculture to promote soil health and carbon sequestration?
One thing, despite being subject to the other, I don't think is the basic thing. I do believe that they should focus on renewing the microorganisms present in the soil and incorporating management from the introduction of native microorganisms such as the use of natural coverage, these complement the microorganisms and guarantee effective bioremediation.
Regenerative agriculture is not a new technology, but it is a new global approach to stop the accelerated global degradation of soils, which in my opinion represents a serious threat even more than climate change. Regenerative agriculture and soil conservation are based on maintaining organic matter and biological activity in the soil, which leads to improving other properties. Reducing soil compaction due to mechanization and keeping the soil covered at all times is a good start.
