I want to perform an in-vitro digestion on liposomes suspension(used to encapsulate plant extract) and liposome encapsulated in alginate beads. In order to stop enzymatic activity it is reccomented to snap-freeze or use protease inhibitors. In my case, lipase and colipase activity are more relevant as there are no protein in my samples. I wonder what would be the best option, are there lipase inhibitors that are affordable. Since I want to check particle stability using microscopy technique, freezing may not be an option as liposomes are destabilized. I wonder if centrifugation to pellet liposomes/beads would be sufficient, given that enzymes remain in solution.

Thank you in advance
