Im looking into new DSC machine in case the one in the lab needs to be replaced. The parameters that need to be taken into account are low temperature operation (below -100 C or liquid nitrogen), controlled cooling (or heating) rates that are as high possible (at least 40 C/min), small sample size (less than 10 microliters), high sensitivity (millijoules or less), dont need fancy or extra software for measuring specific heat capacity unless it would be a part of the standard software, ideally no reference pan, and obviously high accuracy and repeatability.

Hello, well I do not want to place names of specific companies here. However, in my experience with calorimetry I suggest to use a calorimeter based on the Tian-Calvet priciple. Such calorimeters have several advantages compared to other types making them very sensitive and precise, once you have them calibrated very carefully.

You can consider also for TGA-DSC equipment. Mean once run the samples, you can get both thermal stability, melting, and crystallinity data.
