Google Classroom/MOOC is an exciting social media tool that can enhance teaching and learning.There has been a mixed reaction on the Google classroom training program that may link to electronic student evaluation of teaching across the 13 departments.

At the university I taught past six months they were emphasizing elearning too, especially Google Classroom. I found the Classroom platform was limited so I used Blackboard and Canvas instead. In the first semester, I discovered though equipped with the best tools, Blackboard was impractical at my university because of poor internet. In the second semester, I switched to Canvas.
Students did pre-class quizzes online, I kept an open discussion running for the whole semester, and I gave them an online peer-reviewed quiz. Canvas gave me an opportunity to monitor the performance of my students well. One of the most fruitful thing I did with canvas was to ask the students to ask one question about anything. Their responses helped me to better my approach to teaching.
