Working during pandemic was the most challenging task I have ever seen. I will be sharing my experience and research output during lockdown in Indian scenario, do share your experience and suggestions.
It was very well opportunity for me to publish my research papers.
To finish the writings, the challenges are staying motivated. Often not easy, particularly at home with distractions.
The best experience, I guess, is that I learn to write on a daily basis. No rules! Whenever I got the chance, I will do free writing, and paired it with some readings; as well trying to make the most out of the present situation.
The best experience has been being able to sit at my desk and have the time to focus on what I am doing, where I have been and where I am going to, to read and learn, and develop. The worst experience has been not having colleagues there to discuss things with at the point when I really could have done with talking about something. That feeling of just being isolated with myself.
That's easy. No interruptions from unproductive colleagues patrolling the halls looking for someone to complain to!! No bad experiences...remote collaboration is more focused and hence more efficient... though much less enjoyable.
I was unable to get data for my research as it involved data collection through administering interview questionnaires.
It was not a good experience because the days passed with stress and despair. Doing homework without attending science centers is hard and tedious.
