Actually, I am working on my research methodology which will be a quantitative one. I have formulated /8/ hypotheses to be tested. I have also identified 8 independent variables (factors affecting trust formation in e-commerce) and one dependent variable (trust). The eight independent variables have around 40 items to be measured, as for dependent variable it has 12 items to be measured.

I am intending to find or to identify the correlations between independent variables and dependent variables. Also, I am planning and to measure trust (dependent variable) through its 12 items identified earlier.

After reviewing several academic articles, I noticed that some authors used multiple regression analysis, Exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, Structural equation modelling.

So I am asking experts, what is the best analysis technique shall I use, noting that I am a beginner in quantitative analysis techniques and SPSS.

Thanks in advance.
