What type of algorithm is used to merge multiple ontology on protege 4.0?

For my research regarding ontology merging i would like to analyze what type of algorithm is used in protege 4.0. PROMPT is the algorithm used till protege 3.0. Is that still used or is there any other new algorithm implemented with the new version? As it is not clear and not mentioned in the papers which i came upon i turn to my fellow researchers to help. Thanks in advance.
