Some researchers cited my publications in their paper published in reputed journals (eg. Thomson Reuters indexed, Elsevier published, etc) but Research Gate does not show this, even though long time has passed (6 months). In there any way to add those citations in my RG site?
I have the same problem. I have even higher h-index on for example google scholar.

I dont know how you can add them on RG, however on google scholar you can find them .....and yes i agree some citations are not show on RG

Research Gate calculate ONLY the articles uploaded or link added by the RG members in their account.
The articles cited by any author who is not a RG member are not calculated in RG.
I think Patnayak sir give nice justification we should follow this.
I am not agreed with Dr. Patnayak sir. Those authors cited my publications maintain RG accounts and their accounts contain those publications.

In the last months some cites are avoided in RG, some of them are computed in GS and others not.

In RG, citation information are based on the list of publications available in RG database. It may not be complete.
My problem is little bit different. In my account, it is shown that one of my paper is cited in a conference paper which is not related to my field. However, I checked the original paper, but it is RG's mistake.
