I am trying to figure out the correct way to code the following into a calculated field. I have questions that are scored based on the answer. All of the original item responses are coded as 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Answering the first question would score a '0' or answering the fourth question would score a '3' for example. This is easy to do a sum total score, however some of my questions are scored differently. Some questions, answerer 2 and 3 each give the same score of '2'.
How can I do?

Hi Marilia,
See if an "if/then" code works for you. It translates to "if [answer] is x, code it as y". So you could code both options 2 and 3 in a particular question to give the number 2.
