What tests would you run to verify and validate the use of aqua regia for the cleaning of gold solution (nanoparticle) glassware?

I am currently working on validating the use of aqua regia to remove any potential impurities on glassware. I am working specifically with gold colloid manufacturing and it appears standard that most labs use aqua regia to clean the associated glassware. Does anyone have experience with validating a similar cleaning procedure? Thank you for any tips or advice!
