From your brief description, it seems that you already have skills in some of the key basic disciplines that form the foundation of cheminformatics. You might consider adding some addtional tools such as the free data analytics platform, KNIME, which has many available nodes and workflows for cheminformatics. Then, gain experience with putting the building blocks together to solve practical problems such as predicting the biological activity of compounds for use in the discovery and development of agricultural chemicals and pharmaceutical agents.
