I've got 16 subjects split into either a treatment or placebo group. My alternative hypothesis is that there will be a significant increase in stride length post-treatment compared to post-placebo. So far I've used a student t-test on the treatment group pre and post-treatment data, and the placebo group pre and post-treatment to reveal there was no significant increase in either.

I've been told I need to now test the 2 groups against each other to see if there is a significant difference, but I'm not sure how/what test to use.

Any help is appreciated!
