You might also consider PSPP -- it's an open source tool that is comparable with SPSS. Beyond PSPP, I'd recommend SAS. Here's a link:

I've used PSPP and often tell my students to use it since it is convertable to SPSS and free. However, I think it is eaven less advanced than SPSS.

What are the pros and cons of SAS. I know files are convertable to SPSS.
