We are using Netsim for simulation for now quite a long time. Can anyone may please suggest some new simulation software which can strengthen simulative research in the area of 5G and related communication systems.
According to my knowledge the best simulator could be seamcat. Unless you have good funding then you can go for ATDI ICS telecom.
Some other simulators you can find like Visualyze.

It all depends on what sort of applications you are simulating in 5G mobile communication. 5G consist of a vast pool of applications, each with there specific requirements and criteria to be fulfilled.
For simulating different scenarios, you may need different software that best replicates the scenario you are considering. MATLAB may serve as a good tool to simulate most of the properties of next generation mobile wireless systems. Depending upon what you want to explore in these application scenarios, you may need different simulators.

you can use Keysight System Vue. They have a several 5G Simulation models with complete 5G library.
