I am looking for advice regarding some of the low-cost but high impact journals for Business, Management, Leadership, Organizations & Entrepreneurship?
These could be open access or otherwise.

I am recommending Emerald Publication for you. Most of the journals are indexed in SCOPUS . Both open access & traditional publication is available and most improtantly quality of publication is good. You can search the journals using the below link. Good Luck!

Chilumba Kamfwa Bwalya, Hermann Gruenwald First, please understand that publishing your article is not a grocery shopping. Therefore, price should not be the major concern. You should be thinking more about the quality, credibility and scope of journal. Talking about quality, its better to choose the journals that have option to publish free. And even if you pay, you only pay for the open access feature, not for the publication itself. So keep in mind that the publishing the article in any journal is always free because when you submit to any journal, you are contributing to them and helping the journal to engage and build its audience.
Hermann Gruenwald I can understand what you are trying to say. However, its very unfortunate. As a responsible and genuine researchers, we must not encourage this grocery shopping trend in publications.

Further, some of the journals need very high fees to just access a journal while open access demands nothing but a small submission fee; that is the objective of the research(er) also helps to align where to shop for publication opportunity because of some researchers would rather have more people access the research than a privileged few. Besides, many students cannot afford their high submission fees.

Chilumba, this is a relevant question which has preoccupied researcher minds for some time. I tend to use the Chartered Association of Business Schools journal guide. However, the highly rated (in terms of impact factor) tend to charge for open access, which your institution may be willing to pay for. If not, you may as well publish via the non-open access route, hoping that over time, the journal would grant greater access to it. Interesting area to discuss.
