What type of solvents should be used for washing (vis soxhlet extration) of template molecule from synthesized molecularly imprinted polymers other than the typical Methanol and acetic acid (9:1), which most of the researchers have used? And generally, acetic acid of what percent do they use?

Generally acetic acid in literature refers to glacial acetic acid unless otherwise specified. You can use dmf or ethanol as well. Sometimes water is used for polar polyphenols however aqueous solvents require high temperature which can degrade the MIP. Q
