Considering the heterogeneity of asthma and the risk of developing a non-intended Th phenotype in mouse exposed to environmental microbes, I wish to know what particular parameters can be used to determine the tendency of balb/c mice to develop th2 or th17 kind of asthma. for example, do balf of non-induced (-OVA or -HDM) mouse show microbial infestation that may prevent the mouse from developing th2 asthma? do exhibition of high or extremely low balf macrophage number in non-induced mouse deter it from developing asthma of particular phenotype?

Thanks
