Certainly a good question on exotic objects like art and bitcoin. Valuation is both an art and a science. The valuation models in finance will need to be modified to accommodate parameters like demand and liquidity.

Chung Tin Fah, you're right to say valuation models in finance must begin to evolve as we progress. As the number of HNWIs are rising all over the world, there is an increase in demand for luxury goods such as art as well. This is to say many of the rich are looking to pour their wealth into exotic investments like art. There should be better valuation models to keep up with times. I hope we can begin to work towards something like that in the near future.
