What might be the reason for decreasing punch force in sheet bending as the sheet length increased ?

Dear Researchgate Members,

I am very much keen to know that why the punch force decreased as the sheet length increased in U bending of a steel strip. The figure of die and sheet is attached.

The die is having a corner radius of 6mm and punch corner radius of 4mm. Your comments on this is welcome.
