I submitted an article to one of Wiley's Journals 6 months ago. The last email I wrote to the editor and asked about the latest status of the article, his answer was as follows:
"At this time, your article is currently under consideration for our Summer 2023 and later issues".
What does this answer mean?
"Under consideration" typically means that a submission is being reviewed and evaluated by the relevant reviewers or decision-makers. This can happen at various stages of a process, such as during the peer review process for an academic paper. The term indicates that the submission has not yet been accepted or rejected, but is being given careful consideration. It's important to note that the timeframe and specifics of what happens during this stage can vary widely depending on the context and the journal organization or individuals involved in the process.

I agree that this phrase means the manuscript is being reviewed. Has your status/information on the website been changed or improved now?
If not, I would not worry yet. Summer - and I presume you mean the Northern Hemisphere summer - is a little while yet. But I would ask more questions closer - eg in next month or so. Especially if you have not heard more from them by that time.
