It may comes under power systems planning...What may be the objective function code for minimizing the Net Present Cost in PSO?can anyone define the function for the same...i have the pseudocode for PSO algorithms,...but i need the objective function..
1. It seems to me that there has to be someone who can provide you with a natural objective function.
2. The order in which you are developing the project is not right, I think. Why? Because you apparently have decided the methodology BEFORE you have determined a mathematical optimization model that describes this practical problem. You should NEVER select the methodology until you have formulated the model AND investigated its properties. When the model is there, and you know how large it is, and whether or not data is available (and accurate enough) you may start thinking about solution approaches. But NOT the opposite order.

As mentioned above, the optimization method has nothing to do with the objective function of the problem.
First of all, do the right formulation of the problem and then try different (or just one) approaches.
