Dauter is obviously a source to trust, but I don't think it will tell you much about the accuracy of unit cell parameters - this is about accuracy of atomic coordinates upon refinement. Good luck finding further answers - I'm slightly out of this field now so I don't have papers or good answers ready to hand. Apologies.
