I am trying to simulate a dipole antenna with parasitic elements including slots where i can mount S2P file of switches to obtain a reconfigurable antenna pattern. My antenna has no ground plane. Could this be impacting my antenna performance when I perform the Em Excitation in the schematic view? When I use the ports as differential with SMD, only the series component works fine, but the shunt S2P file component fails. I cannot leave the ports with an implicit ground plane when using The FEM simulator. Can I get some advice on how to make the model work properly. I have attached a screenshot of the design. Thanx.
