The car cannot be sustainable as it consists of thousands parts, each of it has an age differ from the others. However, This concept "sustainable car" can be called for the hybrid cars or the cars which use sustainable fuels like hydrogen or bio-fuels.

you are talking about sustainable of cars or vehicle design, vehicle have so many child parts which is inter connected each other in words we can not say that this part is most valuable or this is not every parts have own importance because the each part perform some function when vehicle is running. but if we are put in some vehicle condition which is related to operating condition like speed, power and many more thins than yes we can say that we can or i can design the most sustainable car or vehicle

A car itself cannot be sustainable, because it requires effort for production and it needs energy for driving in principle. Analysing the sustainability of cars needs the consideration and evaluation of the benefit. This could be economically, socially or even ecologically inspiratet. If focussing on the car technology only, several aspects habe to be considered, too: In comparison of technologies, the complete life-cycle has to be considered: effort for production, during in-use phase and in the end-of-life phase. Evaluating a car required broad analysis work, which includes all comonents of a car (propulsion, body, electrics, interior, etc.) and their influences on entire life-cycle. A standardized method for that is LCA (life-cycle analysis).

The moving parts in the car's engine needs lubrication oil, which is produced from fossil oil that is a non-sustainable source. I have stated this point to show you that 100% sustainable car cannot be obtained only by creating new techniques to get rid out of fossil oil either as fuel or lubricating oil or brakes hydraulic
I think practical sustainability always refers back to cost, which includes the cost to own and to operate. In this critical era where resources are no longer a luxury, plus the changes that we see in the climate, then, for now, a sustainable car might just refer to three things:
high energy efficiency for whatever fuel/energy source type,
green and clean as possible, and
affordable for the mass market.
Performance can also be a secondary level factor if its viewed from the perspective of product life cycle, not speed or power.

For perfect vehicle world, we would need to make cars sustainable. We have to focus sustainable than just sustainable vehicle designs.
For making sustainable car couple of favorable points are considered.
1. Sustainable, clean power-Displacing your electricity use with renewable energy credits is a great place to start.
2. Sustainable infrastructure-Environmental solutions such as solar roads and alternative charging/refueling stations need to gain momentum and support.
3. Sustainable design-Its quite common the designer constantly modify design device for a car.
4. Pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods-To keep the number of cars under control both for the sake of environment and traffic flow we need to encourage alternative forms of transportation. Cities are designing neighborhoods that give cyclists and pedestrians a faster way to get around.
