when you calculate transition probability, oscillation strength or any other parameter through Judd-Ofelt theory, what kind of physical unit will be used, for example Planck constant, electric charge, .... and so on? please give me the detail if have it, thank you.
Because it is a high emission cross-section then you should use an area unit (cm2) and the best decimal number is 10-20 for the all parameter's valuses .
Thank you Kasim, I dont have any problem with 10^-20, I mean I dont have any problem with calculating intensity parameter, I have a problem with calculating the Sed, Smd, Aed and Amd in terms of units, because I didn't found any paper mentioned to the units for example which form of units will be used for the electric charge, Planck, electron mass constant. Thank you.
Try to read any PhD Thesis (Appendices) that deal with calculating Judd-Ofelt intensity parameter.
I tried Kasim, there is no any details about it in the PhD appendix, thank you.
