I'm trying to measure the PL intensity in 1s time interval for phosphorescence characteristics after turning off the excitation wavelength of 375nm.
Many of the devices i searched could only provide with time interval of few ns or less.
What kind of device or method should i use to get a data of at least ms time interval PL intensity decay?
I depicted a graph of how i want my data to be. Please help. Thank you!
What you need is time-dependent PL measurement, not just conventional TRPL.
There are two approaches:
(1) use a high–time-resolution PL spectrometer equipped with a multi-anode PMT system.
(2) perform TCSPC in the millisecond range across the emission spectrum (a.k.a. TRES), which allows reconstruction of the time-dependent spectral evolution. As an additional note, systems with ns-level resolution typically also support measurements up to the us or ms range, so it is worth checking the specifications again.
