My EEG experiment is showing a visual stimulus to the subject. The subject do not need to give any response. They just need to look at the visual stimulus.
Stimulus:
A 'red' object displayed in random position on screen -> Standard.
A 'Blue' object displayed in random position on screen -> Rare
The object changes to blue 6 times in the 20 seconds experiment.
Event codes: I created one additional column in the output of eeg file for the events. I want to import it as a data channel. I am confused at the part where I have to manually add these event codes.
I have attached a sample of the eeg and event code data below (ERPLAB_1). I assigned '1' for Standard stimulus and '2' for rare. When I run this using EEGLAB, I get this output of EVENTLIST (Attached below), which is very confusing because all the ecode value is 3 making me unable to create bin descriptor for further process. Where did I go wrong ? Any one please comment. Thank you
