First, you should specify in which mode your helical antenna should work; axial mode or normal mode?

Second, you should be carefull about the impedance bandwidth of the helical antenna that match your application and within the band of the Amp.

You can use the Balun Impedance Matching for a coaxial feed helical antenna

Helical antenna for the said maximum frequency will be big structure for maximum gain.Usually Helical antennas are used above 1GHz.Please confirm you operating frequency.

In the normal mode, the frequency can be 900 MHz and even less as the antenna of the mobile phone.

With such a frequency (1 MHz) using a helical needs a big turn diameter (several meters) and the gain will be very low (-10 to -20 dBi). I guess he needs a coil antenna.
