I'm planning to test an oncolytic virus to tumor mouse model. Tumor will be induced by transplantation of murine tumor cell subcutaneously. According to the animal ethics, we must administer analgesic to the tumor model because the tumor development and pressure will cause pain to the animal.

Because we want to see the proinflammatory effects, such as interferons and other cytokines, to the tumor growth and lymphocytes profile, we need drugs that don't interfere the immune system. What is the best analgesic for this purpose?
