Logical is cant because:

Lean cant sustain sudden change, it is pull system, it focus on reducing the waste, overburden and unevenness

Whereas agile is dynamic it focuses on speed and tend to change according to requirement yet being robust.

Both are from different school of thoughts, so practical implications can be challenging.

I understand the need to be adaptable manufacturing. I suspect your demand forecast will have hundreds of variables.

My suggestion is to study the barriers,

to understand basis of the bigger picture in here :-)
