Hello

A  brief review of studies on antioxidants shows 3 leading trends (opinions) among scientists

1st trend: Study antioxidant activity of primary phytochemicals

argument: "it is important for identification/discorvery of interesting nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals materials"

2nd trend: Stop any research related to measurement of antioxidant in vitro

argument: it is "useless since the results obtained in vitro are not transposable in vivo and many clinical trials failed to show evidences of health benefits of antioxidants in vivo".

3rd trend: Study antioxidant activity of phytochemical metabolites rather than primary phytochemicals

argument: "phytochemical's metabolites appear to be the principal compounds coming into contact with the cells"

What is your own opinion ?

Do you have suggestions for establishment of new approachs?

Regards!
