I mean what is the philosophically usable definition of truth.
In Postmodernity too many variations where created. Even a new branch in Philosophy (Truththeory) was founded.
But we need valid, unified and truth-hitting definitions in Information Science.
Truth was defined in the Mahabharata's Santi Parva, Section CLXII and translated by Kisari Mohan Ganguli between 1883 and 1896. Truth was discussed between Yudhishthira (waiting to be crowned King) and his grandfather Bhishma as he lay on a bed of arrows, waiting for Death to visit him. Sacred-Texts: Hinduism.

Bhishma said: That which is called Truth always exists in a pure and unmingled state in every one. With those that are good, Truth is always an eternal duty. Truth, as it exists in all the world, is of thirteen kinds. Truth assumes impartiality, self-control, forgiveness, modesty, endurance, goodness, renunciation, contemplation, dignity, fortitude, compassion, and abstention from injury. Truth is immutable, eternal, and unchangeable. It may be acquired through practices which do not militate against any of the other virtues. It may also be acquired through Yoga. When desire and aversion, as also lust and wrath are destroyed, one is able to look upon one’s own self and one’s foe, with an unchanging eye: that is called impartiality. Truth.
Self control is in never wishing for another man’s possessions, to allay the fears of others in respect of one’s own self, and invulnerability from ailment. It is acquired through Knowledge, devotion to charity and observance of all duties as constituting goodwill. One comes to acquire universal goodwill by constant devotion to Truth.
As regards non-forgiveness and forgiveness: when an respected and good man endures both what is agreeable and disagreeable, it is said to be forgiveness. This virtue may well be acquired through the practice of truthfulness. Brain Pickings.
That virtue, which an intelligent man of contented mind and speech, achieves many good deeds; when such a person never censures others, is called modesty. It is acquired through righteousness. That virtue which forgives for the sake of virtue is called endurance - it is a form of forgiveness, acquired through patience, and its purpose is to attach people to one’s own self. That virtue with which one does good, with watchfulness and care, to all creatures is called goodness. It has no particular shape. It is divested of all selfish attachment, remains unchanged in happiness and misery and is called fortitude. That wise man who desires his own good practises this virtue. One should always practise forgiveness and devotedness to truth. A man of wisdom who succeeds in casting off joy, fear and wrath, succeeds in acquiring fortitude.
