As deposited ZnO is considered as metal-like material, therefore one defines for it carrier concentration n and fermilevel residing in the conduction band. Please follow the link for more information: https://www.nrel.gov/docs/fy00osti/27747.pdf
if we talk about wide band gap which causes a transparence in ZnO, so my question is: is there any relationship between oxygen window and wide band gap? and how this fact affects the Nc and Nv ?
Yes ZnO is basically a widegap semiconductor, therefore it is optically transparent as passes all the photons with wavelength greater than than its cut off bandwidth corresponding to its band gap. Therefore it is considered as a transparent conductive oxide. The energy band structure depends on the chemical structure of the compound and its geometrical arrangement in space.
