We want to do some blending but would not want to affect the bonding of the chemical or changing the properties of the solution. However, we want to make some linkage but not to degrade the chemical structure. Hope may get further explanation regarding the matter. Thank you.

Most reactions are thermally activated therefore there is no 0/1 response. You have a kinetics (in many cases a brutto kinetics with approximate parameters) from which you can calculate the conversion at a given temeprerature if you know the parameters.
Thank you everyone! Actually we plan to blend protein polymer with active compounds. However, we concern that the temperature that may apply will catabolize the chemical structure of protein or the active compound. Thus, as precaution we would like to confirm the temperature that may affect the bonding structure.
Most probably you are talking about the denaturation process, which is even more delicate than chemical reaction, as it involves frequently irreversible conformational changes, rearagnement of the tertiary and quaternary structure. You can see it form the precipitation or from the loss of biological activity. it can be determined only empirically for each protein and it depends on other factors too (concentrattion, pH, salts etc.).
