What is the temperature history of droplets in spray dryer?

Is it correct that a particle in a spray dryer gets higher temperatures during the first seconds of the drying process (See picture in attachment). Can somebody please help me with a publication that confirms this?

Dear Carole,

thank you for your help! I have one additional question. Is it possible that this initial rise in temperature can be higher than the outlet temperature as the graph I posted shows?
