For Subashini and Kavitha (2011, p.2), "small and medium-sized enterprises (SMBs) are increasingly realizing that just entering the cloud so they can gain quick access to the best business applications or dramatically increase infrastructure resources, all at an insignificant cost. "
In fact, I do not know the business environment or the availability of computing infrastructure for companies operating in India. However, I was able to verify in my studies that SMBs are the ones that benefit most from CC. Once adopting the CC, they don't have to worry about access control, backups, updating and application paths on OSs and so on.
