Whatever the observed phenomenon, Earth's solar eclipse and the Martian solar eclipse or any other natural or supernatural manifestation, I would be careful not to mix the scientific point of view (universal, valid for all) and the religious, mystical, or even superstitic point of view, which comes under the principle of "Freedom of Conscience" A Human Right, fundamentally inalienable. In this regard, it is appropriate to mention this outstanding thinking by Freeman on Science & Religion: "Science and religion are two windows that people look through, trying to understand the big universe outside, trying to understand why we are here. The two windows give different views, but they look out at the same universe. Both views are one-sided, neither is complete. Both leave out essential features of the real world. And both are worthy of respect. Trouble arises when either science or religion claims universal jurisdiction, when either religious or scientific dogma claims to be infallible. Religious creationists and scientific materialists are equally dogmatic and insensitive. By their arrogance, they bring both science and religion into disrepute. The media exaggerate their numbers and importance. Nancy Ann Watanabe Nancy, I'm sorry, but I don't know what you're asking or hope to learn. The link shows an eclipse of the sun as seen by our mars rover. Phobos has a diameter 14 miles and was 3,900 miles from the rover at the time of the image. Our moon is 2,159 miles diameter and further away.
