PET CT is not likely to be useful as the images will be negative and Atrial. fibrosis not be picked up in the CT . However MRI of the Atria with DGE will show fibrosis which is what we have seen.
Agree with above two answers - MRI with DGE is significantly superior to PET-CT in identifying myocardial fibrosis. The other alternative is myocardial SPECT.
