Oxygen is a known culprit in corrosion processes and is tried to be eliminated in normal corrosion studies of materials. Depending on the nature of medium viz., acidic, neutral or alkaline , there will be pronounced effects of its contribution ; even the chemical oxygen scavengers leave their impressions to spoil the game in real filed operation...this is the story in normal temperatures and pressures.

When we deal with High temperature with or without High pressure system especially in molten salt corrosion, how traces of oxygen entrapped in the medium will behave during corrosion studies ?
