What is the role of Chinese One Belt, One Road (OBOR) Strategy in the global energy governance? Is it offering a new global energy governance model?

Diversification of Energy resources is paramount for energy security of a country in present age. OBOR as a developmental strategy also focuses on the diversification of ever growing needs of energy imports in China through regional connectivity, creation of economic zones etc. Can anyone please help in understanding Chinese role in Global Energy governance and how far is it right to say that China is moving towards creation of a new world order for energy governance with Chinese characteristics?
