What is the reported heat flux of a tropical building's normal and cavity walls, and how do we measure it correctly?

I'm attempting to calculate the heat flow of a normal and cavity wall in a tropical building. Nevertheless, the heat flux varies between -1-3000 W/m2. Kindly guide and provide suggestions.
